A dating app for the “lazy”

Bonobo is a new dating app specifically designed for “lazy” people.

It differs from other apps in that you can match and send a message to more users with just one swipe. The users must be in your selected radius and you can send them all a message, instead of one by one.

For the design of Bonobo’s visual identity, we chose a monkey as a symbol of the aforementioned “laziness” and the interface was maximally simplified as part of the brand’s purpose. Colors such as purple, coral, yellow, and turquoise were used for a sense of liveliness, and white background for adding some clarity and space.

The design earned us a spot in the top 5 in the Digital Comm and Interaction Design Category of Zagreb Design Week 2020.
