Project scope
The Dubrovnik-Neretva County Tourist Board was in need of a new, fresh visual branding, representing all of the region’s diversities.
Our proposal was selected as the winner among some of the best Croatian designers in the Croatian Designers Society competition.
“The solution was derived from the distinctive and unique characteristics of the County in which the perception of tourists and citizens overlaps.
DESTINATION BRANDING
The leading features are then associated with the symbols that are recognizable as those of the City of Dubrovnik, as well as the surrounding county: the sun, Dubrovnik walls, ships and boats, agricultural products, islands and water.
Each of these were associated with one grapheme – simple linear form – which has developed graphic language of main sign and its mutation in applications for individual physiognomic units of the County, as well as for other applications such as cultural institutions, theme parks or research centers.”
